چکیده

Abstract Common ash ( Fraxinus excelsior L.) is an economically and ecologically important tree species in Europe acutely threatened by dieback. Here, we present a new set of Simple Sequence Repeat markers for F. six related based on published silico designed primers. Forty SSR markers, mainly from genic regions, were tested amplification polymorphism characterized two populations Germany. Transferability polymorphic to angustifolia , ornus quadrangulata pennsylvanica americana biltmoreana ) was also assessed. Eighteen predominantly regions including three closely linked candidate genes dieback, successfully amplified which between 10 17 transferable one the species. High genetic diversity found N = 7.8 6.9, H e 0.71 0.68), while low differentiation F ST 0.025) observed. The newly characterised extend available other future studies structure populations.

Development and Characterization of Polymorphic Microsatellite Markers for Sedum sarmentosum (Crassulaceae) and Their Cross-Species Transferability.

Sedum sarmentosum is an important Chinese medicinal herb that exhibits anti-inflammatory, anti-angiogenic and anti-nociceptive properties. However, little is known about its genetic background. The first set of 14 microsatellite markers were isolated and characterized for S. sarmentosum using an SSR-enriched library. Fourteen polymorphic microsatellite markers were acquired with satisfactory am...

Cross-species transferability of microsatellite markers in the genus Lippia.

The cross-species transferability of 20 microsatellite markers was tested in the genus Lippia. Eleven markers were polymorphic after screening 19 accessions of Lippia sidoides and Lippia gracilis maintained in the Active Germplasm Bank (AGB) from Universidade Federal de Sergipe. Additionally, 40 accessions of Lippia spp were collected in Sergipe to increase the germplasm bank. A total of 23, 22...

Transferability of microsatellite markers of Capsicum annuum L. to C. frutescens L. and C. chinense Jacq.

In order to support further genetic, diversity, and phylogeny studies of Capsicum species, the transferability of a Capsicum annuum L. simple sequence repeat (SSR) microsatellite set was analyzed for C. frutescens L. ("malagueta" and "tabasco" peppers) and C. chinense Jacq. (smell peppers, among other types). A total of 185 SSR primers were evaluated in 12 accessions from 115 C. frutescens L. a...

Cross-species transferability of microsatellite markers from six aphid (Hemiptera: Aphididae) species and their use for evaluating biotypic diversity in two cereal aphids.

The abundance and distribution of microsatellites, or simple sequence repeats (SSRs) were explored in the expressed sequence tag (EST) and genomic sequences of the pea aphid, Acyrthosiphon pisum (Harris), and the green peach aphid, Myzus persicae (Sulzer). A total of 108 newly developed, together with 40 published, SSR markers were investigated for their cross-species transferability among six ...

Microsatellite markers for Cariniana legalis (Lecythidaceae) and their transferability to C. estrellensis1

UNLABELLED PREMISE OF THE STUDY Microsatellite primers were developed in the neotropical tree species Cariniana legalis (Lecythidaceae) to investigate its genetic diversity, mating system, and gene flow. • METHODS AND RESULTS We identified 96 clones containing 82 repeat motifs from a genomic library enriched for (CT)8 and (GT)8 motifs. Primer pairs were developed for 13 microsatellite loci...
